Friday Favourites

Hap-hap-happy Friday Friends!

Friday Favourites!!

Favourite Product: This week I’ve fallen in love with Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.”This lightweight, readily absorbed elixir effectively restores skin’s healthy appearance overnight, resulting in smoother, more radiant complexion by morning”. I’ve only just started using the product but my skin is already looking and feeling better. Stay tuned for a more detailed review.

Favourite weather: I know you’re going to think I’m crazy but I feel like we’re close enough now that I can share with you my deepest, darkest secrets…you ready? I love rainy days. I love cold, dark, rainy days! When I open my windows in the morning and see rain I’m really happy, especially if it’s a weekend and then I can lie on the couch with a hot chocolate or a peppermint tea and watch a movie.  I love winter and would happily live in a place where it snowed. Winter is when I come into my element; I can wear big, gorgeous coats, lovely scarves, warm hats and gloves and sport the latest winter footwear.  I can cook hot stews and warm desserts and sit by a fire with my ugg boots on. I’m guessing you like summer and sun don’t you?

Favourite new item: Loving my new Zu leopard print loafers! Comfy, reasonably priced and no toe-cleavage!

Favourite blog of the week: Fox in Flats: Sharing tips, ideas and inspiration to make it easier to navigate motherhood in style. You don’t even need to be a mumma to love this blog.  Here you can find:

- Style inspiration and fashion filter – finding the latest looks and trends
- Tips and hints for dressing for particular stages in motherhood like pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Clever advice on hair styles and beauty looks
- Fun dares! This is probably my most favourite part of Fox in Flats. Andrea, the brains behind this fantastic blog, create’s style dares for her readers to participate in.  It might be a dare to wear red lipstick every day of the week or to wear a headband, or to show the inside of your cupboards! Plenty of fun and great to see other foxy’s photos.

Check out Fox in Flats here and follow Andrea on Twitter @FoxInFlats… she’s so much fun!

Favourite show of the week: Check out the Graham Norton show this weekend. It’s a British comedy chat show hosted by the very funny and witty Graham Norton. Tune in Saturday nights from 8:30pm on Channel 10.

Favourite nail polish: I’m still obsessed with Darling nail polish! Gorgeous colours, easy to apply and CHIP-PROOF! Check out Darling here.

Favourite holiday food memory: I’ve been a New York Yankee’s fan for as long as I can remember and it was an absolute dream come true to eat a hot dog in Yankee Stadium and watch my team win!

Favourite funny moment: We were back in my husband’s home town of Mudgee for the weekend and had to round-up some goats in a friends yard. Watch a city boy and a country boy try to herd these cute little goats.  Look carefully when the goat goes towards the house. (no animals were hurt in the making of this video). Click here to view.

Favourite photo of the week: No explanation needed!!

Favourite hangover food: I LOVE MCDONALDS and I’m not ashamed to admit it! Today I was a tiny, weeny bit hung over and there is only one cure for my hangovers…. Medium Big Mac meal with a coke please!

I hate birds

just laugh...

Steph, Love this list – and love that I’m on it! What an awesome honor! Mwah!

I laughed to read about your dislike of toe cleavage – I’m with you. In fact, I wrote about it on site, and it’s one of my most popular posts LOL!

Ha I’ve sported toe cleavage for far too long and its about time my feet (and moi) grow up and start wearing adult shoes (cleavage covering).
