Long gone are the days where you just painted your nails a simple colour. Nail art is a fast growing trend and shows no signs of slowing down. The latest nail-art trend is Hello Darling’s Rockcandy, a 3-D effect created by tiny little microbeads.

Rockcandy? What’s that?

“It is a collection of two-step nail design sets unlike anything you’ve worn before, available in ten sensational colours.

Each set contains your very own Hello Darling colour and is expertly matched with a vial filled with hundreds of glass microbeads, leaving an intensely textured, three-dimensional finish. These can be used for intricate nail designs, as a feature nail, or for complete coverage of each nail.”

Can I make a mention to that girl’s hair in the first picture? I love it! Kind of makes me want to get a slightly blue tinged colour!

I think that nail art is only meant to be temporary, like for a special occasion or to wear over one or two days. The longest I’ve had the rockcandy on is for about three days – thats after I sealed it with clear nailpolish. It’s lots of fun x
