Woah! This week has just flown by. Did you know it’s only 16 weeks until Christmas? YIKES!
I hope you’ve had a cracker of a week and I look forward to sharing plenty of exciting posts with you next week.
HAPPY FRIDAY!
Accessorizing – with this gorgeous Lovisa Rectangle Section Bangle $19.99. In stores now! As obsessed with neon as I am right now? Check out the rest of Lovisa’s neon range here. P.S. If you haven’t already, enter the Lovisa competition for your chance to win a $1000 shopping spree to share with four friends.
Mixing it up – I’m getting a little more daring with my nail polish at the moment and can’t wait to try this cute mani I found on Pinterest this week
On replay – I can’t get enough of Scottish singer Emeli Sande and her album Our Version of Events. Her song Next to Me is on replay at the moment. Do you have a song on replay at the moment?
What a view – From my room at the Marriott Hotel Sydney during my stay a few weeks ago. Come back on Monday to see my full review of my stay there.
I have a HUGE crush on – country singer and actor Tim McGraw! (You may have seen him in The Blindside or Country Strong) He is gorgeous, has an amazing voice and is married to one of my favourite singers Faith Hill. Who is your celeb crush? C’mon, share!
Chocolate fix – I well and truly fed my chocolate craving this week after whipping up a batch of choc-hazelnut brownies with nutella frosting. Want to make them? You can find the tasty and straight forward recipe here.
The perfect dinner – One of my all-time favourite dinners has to be melted cheese on toast.
Moo’s – Last weeks date night was dinner at Moo’s Gourmet Burgers in Crows Nest. Juicy burgers, crunchy chips with THE BEST aioli and the most delicious moo shakes! Have you been to Moo’s yet? It’s definitely worth a visit.
Smelling good – with my ever-growing collection of perfumes. What’s your favourite perfume at the moment? At the moment I’m loving Stella McCartney Peony and Stella, Abercrombie & Fitch no 8, DKNY Be Delicious and Givenchy Ange ou demon le secret.
Ocsober – Have you heard of Ocsober yet? Ocsober is a fundraising initiative that encourages people to give up alcohol for the month of October. The money raised during the month goes to Life Education, the organisation behind the iconic educational mascot, Healthy Harold. Remember him? For 30 years Harold has been teaching Australian kids how to enjoy a healthy lifestyle by resisting participation in drug and alcohol abuse. For more information on Ocsober or to sign up visit the Ocsboer website here.
Simple but cute – I have never been very good at doing my own hair. I know how to wear it out, put it in a pony tail and a bun and that’s about it. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to learn how to do my hair properly and try new styles. This week I’m going to attempt this hair style. Looks simple enough, if I can’t create this look then I think I’m really in trouble.
Handbag storage – For years I have tried to find a storage system for my handbags. At the moment they’re strewn all over the place – on top of cupboards, hanging behind doors and strewn over the floor of my dressing room (aka our spare room). I think I have finally found a great way to store my handbags. How do you store yours?
What have you got planned for the weekend?

Wow – 16 weeks until Christmas, I better start preparing
I LOVE Emeli Sande and had ‘Next to Me’ on repeat a few months back, such a great feel good song. I’m loving Birdy’s People help the People and Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die. Apart from that, the Wiggles feature pretty highly on our playlist
Now that you have officially deemed cheese on toast as a proper dinner, I’m having it tomorrow night. Love your FF as always. A xx
OMG really? 16 weeks until Christmas! how this year has flown!
Heya Steph. Oh god. 16 WEEKS! Where did the year go? The perfume I am loving at the moment is Gucci Flora but I’m really keen to try the new Chanel Coco Noir. My celeb crush is Channing Tatum – very unoriginal! When it comes to hair I am totally in the same boat. I seem to style it quite nicely when I twist it up before getting into the shower at night – if only I could do that in the morning
I see you went to Problogger last year – are you going this year? If so, I really hope to meet you x
I know Rose, I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by.
Same! My best hair do’s are at night when I don’t put in any effort. I can never repeat them in the morning :-S
Yep I’m going again this year. Fantastic! We have to find each other this year. xx
Thanks Amy! I always love hearing from you. I’m loving Birdy and Lana Del Rey too! So many great artists out there xx
