Happy Friday Friends!
Wishing you a very sunny, safe and restful weekend. x
Nothing better than – clean, crisp, good quality sheets. From September Sheridan will re-package its entire sheeting line into ‘soft’ and ‘classic’ categories, removing reliance on thread count classifications. It will also introduce interactive ‘Trust Your Skin Feel Stations’ in store, allowing shoppers to touch and compare the different styles of sheets before selecting their personal preference.
I can’t wait to buy some new sheets now! For more information visit the website here.
Decking out my wrists – with colourful bracelets. These bracelets came as a pack of four as part of Lovisa’s ‘Sweet Little Things’ line. I spend way too much time in that shop
It’s my colour - On Wednesday I was invited to the launch event for Nutrimetics Colour Wardrobe. Nutrimetics’ new colour cosmetics are designed to find the perfect make-up solution for each individual’s colour type. To celebrate the new line we sat down with colour experts, Nutrimetics’s Adam Buechner and celeb stylist Jeff Lack, who determined if we were suited to cool or warm colours. We were also spoilt with a few pieces of the collection and a gorgeous Country Road scarf, individually selected for us by Jeff. I absolutely love the scarf that Jeff picked for me. Stay tuned for detailed post coming shortly.
Sparkling – my nails are sparkling with Australis’s cute glitter nail polish. This polish will definitely be making an appearance in my nail polish challenge next month. Are you going to do the challenge with me? Check out the details here.
Seeing red – This week I’ve been participating in Fox in Flat’s Red Lipstick Style Dare. Stay tuned for my top 5 lipsticks!
Have you tried Puppy Chow? – I was introduced to puppy chow a few weeks ago and I’m addicted. It’s Chex cereal mixed with melted chocolate, peanut butter, a bit of butter and then carefully mixed with icing sugar. So simple, so tasty!
Treating my feet – with a foot spa. So relaxing and totally under-rated! Why don’t you spoil yourself to a foot spa this weekend.
Are you going to go sign up for Ocsober? – A few weeks ago I told you a little bit about Ocsober, Ocsober is a fundraising initiative that encourages people to give up alcohol for the month of October. The money raised during the month goes to Life Education, the organisation behind the iconic educational mascot, Healthy Harold. Remember him? For 30 years Harold has been teaching Australian kids how to enjoy a healthy lifestyle by resisting participation in drug and alcohol abuse. For more information on Ocsober or to sign up visit the Ocsboer website here. Anyway, some of the ambassadors had a Mocktail named after them and after going through the recipes I decided I liked Blake Worall-Thompson’s Mocktail the best. Would you like to see some Mocktail recipes on Lipstick & Cake?
Obsessed with – beauty products! There are so many fantastic beauty brands and products out in the market and I am always very excited to try them. Stay tuned for some product reviews for the following brands: MAC Cosmetics, Kora, Ella Bache, Nutrimetics, Kiehls, Smashbox and more.
Have a great weekend x

Looking forward to the Nutrimetics’ post Steph. I am still trying to figure out my colour type!? I think I am warm because yellow/rose Gold Jewellrey looks better on me. But seems to make more sense that my pale skin would mean I am cool.
I love that nail polish Steph! It’s like a nail party, can’t wait to check it out
Ocsober sounds like such a fantastic cause, good for you for getting on board and supporting it. I wore red lipstick for the first night of Perth Fashion Festival… but not so sure it suited me? Thanks SO much for adding me to your blog love. A xxx
