Verso Skincare

Verso Skincare, the latest beauty brand I’ve integrated into my daily beauty routine. My new favourite serum and moisturiser.

A few weeks ago my skincare products all seemed to finish up at around the same time…typical. Whilst I was happy with the products I was using, I thought it was time to have a crack at something new.

I did my research and decided to try a new brand, Verso Skincare.

Verso Skincare

Verso is a Swedish beauty brand that features Retinol in all of its products, actually it features eight times more retinol that any other product on the market.

Retinol has been proven as one of the most effective substances for fighting aging, it reduces the appearance of fine lines and discoloration. This was a huge factor in me choosing to go with the brand, as I’m at the age where fine lines are trying to appear and I still have a little discoloration from a bad sunburn I experienced a while ago.

Unfortunately, a well known side effect of retinol is that it can irritate the skin, so this might not be for everyone. However, I have a sensitive complexion and after a few weeks of use I have experienced no irritations. Phew!

Apart from the retinol, I love that the products don’t contain any colourants, parabens, mineral oils or any other harmful substances, ’cause nobody got time for that. They’ve also been clinically tested and proven to be safe and effective.

I’ve been using the products for a few weeks now and am very happy. My skin is hydrated, brighter and translucent – just what I wanted.

The products come in a pump tube and some very sleek and sexy packaging!

Formulated with a high dose of Retinol 8 (a stabilised vitamin A complex), Verso’s Super Face Serum is a fluid serum that aids the skin’s natural production of collagen, fights those fine lines and reverses the signs of ageing.

The serum is silky and glides onto the skin, leaving it looking brighter. Over time it improves the texture and reduces discoloration, spots and wrinkles.

How to use: Apply on cleansed skin (face and neck) every morning and/or evening.

Also featuring Retinol 8, Verso’s Day Cream is a moisturiser that helps to activate the skin, stimulate the natural production of collagen and reserves the signs of ageing.

The formula also contains Vitamin B3 which increases the skin’s luminosity and over time will make the skin appear younger, fresher and more translucent- which is what I look for in a moisturiser.

How to use: Apply every morning to face and neck, after serum. The Day Cream does contain UV filters for a good daily protection but I add an additional SPF cream after… for extra protection!

Tell me dear reader, what do you look for in your daily skincare products?
