Wide Leg Pants and the Perfect Blazer

The outfit I wore to my sister’s graduation might have just become my new favorite. Wide Leg Pants and the Perfect Blazer, so comfortable and very chic.

This week my parents, boyfriend and I flew to Mississippi to attend my sister Maddie’s graduation from The University of Mississippi. I’ve been to Mississippi quite a few times before and knew that the ladies dressed up for special occasions, especially this one.

While I looked at a ton of dress options, I kept thinking about this gorgeous pair of white wide leg pants that were hanging in my wardrobe. Not only were the pants cute, but I knew that they’d be a little different to what everyone else was wearing.

You see, towards the end of last year I attended one of Ole Miss’s College Football games, which was huge! Everyone get’s dressed to the 9’s and it is such a brilliant day of eating, drinking, watching football and partying. I am clearly a huge fan of wide leg pants, because I wore an awesome maroon pair from Alice & Eve and was one of the only women to be wearing pants. I loved wearing something a little different and, I’m not going to lie, fetched quite a few compliments.

When I couldn’t find any dresses that stood out, I decided on wearing the Maurie & Eve Nowhere Man Pants. We weren’t sure what the weather was going to be like, so I teamed my pants with Mink Pink’s Textured Tee and my absolute favorite blazer – Camilla & Marc’s Black Dimmer Blazer from Frockaholics.

The first part of the graduation ceremony was being held in The Grove, a beautiful lawn in the centre of the campus. With this in mind, I wore my thick-heeled Sol Sana Suzy Mules. In regards to accessories, I wore my Christie Nicolaides Adara earrings,my trusty Gucci Soho Disco Textured-Leather Shoulder Bag and my Celine Shadow Sunglasses.

I absolutely loved my outfit and felt like a million bucks. I know I’ll be wearing this outfit over and over again.
